Harvest Moon
So I arrive back from the Azores on a Friday morning. In the evening I head off for a meal with JB. During our meal we receive a text message from Gaynor enquiring if we are up for some racing the following morning. The wonderful CYC were putting on a race to West Mersea and the owners of Harvest Moon (Gaynor and Paul) were keen for some additional crew. In a moment of weakness after some wine I said I was up for it.
Paul and Gaynor own Harvest Moon, A Beneteau First 29. One other ( higher rated and faster) exists in CYC so a race within the race ensued. Needless to say we did rather well, 2nd in the race itself behind Nick and team on Gambit and well in front in our little match race. With a video camera in hand I captured the moment it all went our way. Follow the link below:

During the race back home the following day we improved our performance and won overall.
