Change of plan - Into Cork

The wind has backed further and Paul found in teh night that he couldn't lay Land's End and was making a lot of leeway in trying. The new plan is to get into Cork, which he is laying. He should be there early tomorrow with any luck.

Dear Paul,
I hope you are feeling better now. It must have been a tough decision to turn around, especially after all the investments and modifications on your boat... I have followed your progress during winter very closely and have watched the OSTAR tracker many times a day. I will modify my JOD similar to yours and many thanks for your great website!!!At the end your gear was less sustainable than yourself and you will get more opportunities to realize that dream! Your decision was an approval for real seamanship which I really do admire. Best of luck from Germany!!!

So sorry you've had to turn back Paul, I was looking forward to pretending I knew something about sailing and following your journey. I hope you can get patched up and back out there though. While you buy new wet gear I'll swot up on some sailing terms to impress! Kathxxx

Good luck Paul. So sorry to hear of your problems. A little ironic that is was Cork the weather wouldnt allow you to make in the Triangle 04 race. Hope you will soon be back out on course to USA. Keep going!
