Sunrise

Currently 2.5 hours from the needles. Plan is to nip into Yarmouth (IoW) and get some more fuel. There has been little wind on route back to Suffolk so far. What wind there has been has been on the nose. Consequently progress is slow.

Nice picture, to bad for the slow ride, although sailing back in a gale wouldn't be much fun either.
Cheers,
Jim

So sorry that you had to retire. You must be gutted after all the work and preparation. All the best and hope you will be there in 2013.

Hi Paul
Your frustration is well understood, but you have still achieved great deal and far more indeed than the most armchair sailors
I always had great sympathy for Pete Goss who seemed to have one problem after another
Hope the trip back to Suffolk goes well
Don’t be too hyper-critical, you had prepared really well and there is always next time…..or maybe the Transquadra?
very best
